I wanted to start posting my own blogs for quite some time now. I was waiting for the perfect moment. The perfect opportunity has arrived with the addition of a new member to our family. Its just amazing to see back where we started our journey to this joyous moment.
I still remember the doctor visits, monthly check ups, Constant Ultrasound follow ups, Walking in the park,Kicks,sleepless nights. Our wait for 9 months is finally over.
I delivered a healthy baby boy on Sept 24th at 1:17PM Pacific Standard Time. I heard a cry , what a moment when I first saw my baby. May be I will never forget his first look ...its a snapspot for a lifetime....still in my eyes. What a lovely, innocent, long awaited face with black eyes, pink lips ...great relief to see him. Ican still feel his first touch. I am a MOM now and my new journey with Siddartha began.
It is just amazing to see a new born in the first couple of hours. The first weighing, wash and the hair style etc. were very good opportunities for Chandra to hone his camera skills as well. Our boy looked really cute in it. We thought we will name "Vyas" but on the deciding day we decided Siddartha. He is healthy, happy boy, peacefully sleeping most of the time, making us change his diapers multiple times and crying whenever he is hungry. Will tell more about his First week adventures in next post.
