Happy New Year
Happy new year to all of you...
Its my First New year. Mom and dad attended Vishnu Sahasra nama Puja at Chinmaya mission. It was very cold out there. so i stayed home with My Grandparents . We went to Prabhav's House( My Friend) for a New Year get together. We stayed late till 12:00 a.m to celebrate the new year. I met Chaitra, Sruthi, pruthvi, Prateek, Varish, Prabhav, Anika. Prabhav Cut the cake and every one wished Happy New year. Parents played soem fun games and we kids happily slept. We came home little late and we slept off.
In teh morning we all woke up little late .
We went to Balaji temple and spent some time in the temple. Mom made me to cut the cake on New years day.
Next day we had Satyanarayana swamy Vratham at my Home.

Annaprasana
Amma was telling me that i will be getting my first solid food when i turn 6 months old. She was telling me that we will go to temple and perform Annaprasana ceremony.
Then i did someresearch and found out what this Annaprasna ceremony means. Here is what i found out. Anna prasana will be performed on 6th month 6 day. It supposed to happen on March 1st2009, for me, but Mom is not feeling well, so we postponed it and we asked Pandit ji for another good day and we did it on March 6th 2009.
When the baby gets solid food for the first time, mantras are recited and pujas are offered to various dieties. It is beleived that, with annaprasana, the flaws that arise due to intake of impure food when as a foetus are removed. It is also beleived that annaprasana ceremony will help to propitiate speech.
My annaprasana was done at Balaji temple. pandit ji did Ganapthi pooja, Annapoorna devi pooja. He gave blessing to all of us. In this ceremony, different articles ( Books, pen, Toys, Money, Gold ornaments, Food) are spread before me. I was allowed to touch these items and it is beleived that what ever i touch first wiil be my interest for the rest of my life. I touched first Books then pen and Money.
At the end, Dad fed me Rice Kheer with a golden ring , then amma, Nanamma and Tatayya fed me with Gold ring. AKshitha pinni and KIram babai also came and blessed me.

My First Satsang
Today, I attended Satsang for the first time. Mom was little worried how i will be in the Satsang.
But as soon as we entered the Satsang place, i became a good boy.. No crying, no shouting. I sat in Moms Lap and listened to Vishnu SahasraNama Parayana, Bhajans and Narayana Mantram. It was very calm and peaceful. Everyone are chanting very nicely. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Mom and dad Recited Vishna sahasra nama parayana when i was in moms womb. so i knew all these sounds and vibrations. They used to come to this satsang regularly. Mom beleives that i came into this world with Vibrations. She wants me to get familiarise with all these Vedic sounds and Vibrations.

Trip to the Park
Nowadays weather is so nice mommy is taking me to park after she comes back from office. Its so nice to be in sun and see kids of my age in the park. But i don't like to sit in Stroller. Now i can crawl and i can do many things with my legs, i don't want sit in that basket like thing. Its sometimes a challenge communicating with these adults. Much easier with folks my age! Generation gap.. i am telling you!
I hate to sit in my car seat.. and am trying hard to communicate that to mommy. But either she does not get it.. or she is trying to ignore. Mommy.. uuuuh uuuh uuuh with tummy up.. means pick me out of this seat!!!!!! I wonder if learning to talk will help!!

Sitaram Babai's Visit
Guess who came to see me, Its Sitaram babi and Raji Pinni. They came from Chicago. Dad was telling me about their visit. They wanted to come and see me long back, but couldn't make it because Raji Pinni is going to school. It was so nice to see them. They stayed with us for 4 days. I had so much fun with them. They brought me some dresses. They entertained me nicely for 4 days. I am eager to meet them again in Chicago.

We celebrated Raji Pinni's Birthday. Her Birthday is on Jan 20th. We had small get together with all my Dad's and sitaram babais friends .
